thursday friday saturday night they have thai meals which are really good. its a real pub and friendly toboot. they do breakfasts at weekends and most important of all we can take our border collie in. recommended

We made a trip out of our way to visit this 4.7 star pub looking forward to a nice drink and a good meal. In all honesty I was somewhat confused when I arrived, seemed to be just a local’s drinkers pub. Never the less we gave it the benefit of the doubt and ordered dinner at around 6:30, staff are very friendly and helpful. So, then it all got a bit confusing, 5 mins after ordering we was told they had ran out of peas…. How on earth can this happen and if it does why would you not just pop to the local shop and buy some?? OK so we settled for beans for my son’s dinner. Then my Thai green curry arrived with PEAS??? Tasted OK but nothing special, clearly this was precooked and microwaved or brought in and not cooked in house at all. Not impressed and won’t be visiting again, No frozen peas? No excuse!!! Shocking!!!!

A proper pub.. normally has 3 or 4 real ales on, kept by a wonderfully competent cellar manager. Barstaff are friendly and not averse to gentle banter from locals, good range of clientele from across the political spectrum and the class divide..

Really lovely Norfolk pub with a Thai weekend twist! Highly Recommend, great food, great choice of drinks & staff are lovely..

Unexpected visit by about 20 of us at lunchtime and one young lady severd us without any problems in the time we had well done to her
